En los últimos días les he estado leyendo puesto que están proporcionando información actualizada sobre lo que ocurre. De todos modos, no te lo digo por la información en si misma sino porque he visto que en algunos casos han actuado como intermediarios entre clientes de Plus500 y la propia empresa y han ayudado a conseguir que a algunas personas se les desbloqueara la cuenta. Por otro lado parece ser que en los últimos días se ha incrementado el ritmo de desbloqueos y ya hay bastantes clientes que pueden volver a operar y a solicitar reintegros.

Buenas noches a todos, imagino que no servirá de mucho o puede que de nada pero por lo menos me he desahogado un poco. Acabo de enviar una carta dirigida al CEO de Plus500, Gal Haber. Como no he encontrado su dirección de correo por ninguna parte he tenido que mandarla al Departamento de Relaciones con el Inversor. Ya veremos si pasa el filtro y llega a alguien de más arriba. Os la adjunto por si a alguien le apetece leer un poco.

I’m one of the customers whose account has been locked since May, 18. Throughout the last ten days I’ve had the chance to talk with many other spanish customers and I’ve come to the conclusion that the lack of attention to the customers is being one of your biggest failures in this situation. I understand that the Company had to lock the accounts forced by the FCA requirements but otherwise I also understand that it was a very serious decision.
Customers have received an absolutely insufficient and inadequate attention. Just one email full of topic sentences. In other words, the message that Company has been sending to the customers is: “Please sit down and wait for your turn.” With all my respects, I consider this as a lack of respect from the Company.
I wonder if you really value the customers or just the ARPU we provide to the financial reports of the Company but I would like to remain you that the customers are the base of your business. And, as you already know, at this moment, this Company reputation isn’t the best one in the sector.
That’s why I’d like to suggest you that, in order to substantially improve the Customer Attention Service, the Company could create a Call Center and offer telephone attention to its customers in several languages.
Finally, I’d like to say that I’ve been using the Plus500 platform to trade for the last two years and during this time my level of satisfaction has been quite high. Of course, the facts occurred throughout last weeks have changed this opinion and my level of confidence in your Company has been seriously damaged.

Hola rpujol, gracias por la respuesta. Ahora ya sé de qué hablas. A mí también me lo pidieron y en principio lo habían aprobado pero luego vino el bloqueo masivo. En fin, seguiremos esperando y esperemos que no nos den las uvas porque esto ya se está haciendo demasiado largo.
Por cierto, mañana celebran la Junta Anual de Accionistas así que os sugiero que estéis atentos porque imagino que proporcionarán nueva información.

Hola rpujol, siento no poder ayudarte pero a mi tampoco me acaba de quedar claro qué es lo que te piden.
Por lo que comentas te habían pedido que rellenaras un cuestionario. Podrías decirnos más o menos qué información te pedían. Lo digo por tener una idea de a qué nos enfrentamos si a otros también nos lo piden.
En mi caso particular sigo bloqueado y esperando y todavía no me han dicho ni pedido nada.

Further statement and clarification
Plus500, a leading online service provider for retail customers to trade CFDs internationally, is today issuing the following statement to respond to recent speculation regarding the current status of Plus500UK's dialogue with the FCA, in particular in relation to the fact that Plus500UK has "in recent weeks been implementing certain enhanced client on boarding and Anti-Money Laundering processes".
The Company can confirm that on 9 January 2015, its UK subsidiary, Plus500UK Limited ("Plus500UK"), was required by the FCA under section 166 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 ("Section 166") (see notes) to appoint a Skilled Person to conduct a review of its Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") and financial sanction systems and other related regulatory controls. The Skilled Person's review is normally a confidential process but in light of recent events the Board believes it is prudent to inform the market of the review. In addition to the Skilled Person's review, on 30 October 2014 Plus500UK provided a Voluntary Requirement ("VREQ") to the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") whereby Plus500UK was prohibited from conducting all transactions for customers without the appropriate AML documentation.
Following completion of the Skilled Person's Review, on 15 May 2015 Plus500UK provided a further VREQ to the FCA whereby Plus500UK was required, amongst other things, to prohibit all transactions for existing customers until additional AML documentation had been provided and cease on-boarding any new clients until new AML procedures had been implemented. Plus500UK's dialogue with the FCA regarding the Section 166 and the VREQs is ongoing.
With regards to progress on onboarding clients, since the announcement on Monday 18 May, Plus500UK has put in place a comprehensive remediation plan to re-enable its currently suspended customers, with approximately 40 staff expected to be working on this process over the coming weeks. Plus500UK continues to re-approve existing customers who have provided the appropriate AML documentation. Regarding new Plus500UK customers, Plus500UK is in dialogue with the Skilled Person about its onboarding process. Whilst it is not currently able to on-board new customers until this process has been agreed, it expects to be in a position to do so within the next few days. In the meantime the Company is able to onboard new customers (including new UK customers) through its regulated Cypriot subsidiary, Plus500CY Limited and Australian customers through its ASIC regulated subsidiary, Plus500AU Limited.
We expect to provide a further update by the time of the Company's AGM, due to be held on Wednesday 27 May.
Hola, lo cierto es que la respuesta de la FCA me ha dejado aún más preocupado porque, aunque amablemente, se me han quitado de encima diciendo que no tienen poder para intervenir lo cual me genera más dudas:
-De qué sirve que una entidad financiera esté regulada por la FCA o por quien sea?
-Si un cliente tiene un problema serio como nos está pasando a unos cuantos en este foro y a miles en general, quién le ampara en sus derechos?
-Y aunque no quiero ser alarmista, en el hipotético caso de que nuestras cuentas no sean desbloqueadas y acabemos perdiendo nuestro dinero, ¿a quién podemos recurrir para recuperarlo?

Buenos días a todos, el martes escribí a la Financial Conduct Authority explicándoles lo que está pasando con Plus 500. Esta mañana me han contestado. Os adjunto la respuesta:

I'm sorry to hear your account with Plus500 has been suspended, i can appreciate this must be a frustrating situation for you.
As the financial services regulator we do not have the powers to investigate individual complaints for consumers as we are required by law to remain impartial and therefore at this stage would be unable to comment on what has happened. However I can give you guidance on what you can do to resolve your dispute.
I have checked the Plus500 website and they have issued an update regarding restrictions that have been placed on traders accounts which you may wish to have a look at if you haven't already. The update says that due to anti-money laundering the firm are carrying out a review and traders may not be able to withdraw funds until this has been completed. Your next steps
If you are unhappy with the firm due to the current situation, or any aspect of the service which you have received, you may wish to make a formal complaint to them.
The Financial firms we regulate must respond to your complaint in writing within eight weeks, telling you whether the complaint has been successful or why they need more time to look into it.
Should you not be satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, then, you may refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). The FOS was set up to resolve disputes between consumers and authorised firms. I have attached their contact details below for your convenience:

Buenos días a todos. Parece ser, según información de un sitio web financiero británico llamado City AM, que Plus500 va a empezar a desbloquear cuentas entre hoy y mañana. Según dicen, primero van a desbloquear a los clientes que operan con regularidad. Las demás cuentas podrían continuar bloqueadas hasta dos semanas dependiendo de lo rápidos que sean los clientes al enviar la documentación que se les requiera.

En primer lugar, mi solidaridad con los afectados. A mi también me han bloqueado. Esta mañana he escrito a la FCA exponiéndoles el caso y pidiéndoles ayuda pero no tendré respuesta hasta dentro de un par de días.
Ahora mismo estoy muy preocupado porque mi situación es muy parecida a la de "rpujol2000". También llevaba un par de años con ellos, también me pidieron documentación la semana pasada que les mandé y verificaron sin problema, y sin previo aviso también recibí un correo ayer notificándome el bloqueo de la cuenta. Naturalmente les escribí pero por ahora no he obtenido ninguna respuesta. No dejo de preguntarme si esta situación es legal, es decir, ¿puede una entidad financiera bloquear las cuentas de los clientes sin avisar y sin una razón de peso? Obviamente, la confianza que se habían ganado durante estos dos años ha desaparecido en cuestión de horas así que ahora mismo sólo espero recuperar mi dinero y dudo mucho que siga trabajando con ellos.
Si alguien puede aportar cualquier novedad, información o ayuda al respecto será de agradecer.
