VILLEPINTE, -- DRONE VOLT release new Drone called DRONE SPRAY HEALTH© aimed at vector borne diseases fight.
With contacts in Singapore, France and Tanzania, it is looking at a long term solution to help reduce human infections by mosquitoes with diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, Japanese encephalitis…
The new Drone SPRAY HEALTH© could carry larviciding products in order to kill mosquitoes and their larvae where they rest and breed in all types of areas, such as cities, suburbs and rural.
As of today, nothing of that kind has been enterprised in areas most affected (West Africa, South East Asia) by vector borne diseases.
We are looking at an afforable and sustainable solution for a slowly evolving issue. Indeed, most of today’s operations are carried out manually by human personnel with very limited means and even less access to information on the risks taken.
Drone SPRAY HEALTH© has the capacity to make recognition missions, identify larvae breeding grounds, calculate the area to cover and then spray larvicides accordingly.
Therefore it would be ideal to reduce larvicides waste and is also far less time consuming than human staff operations.
DRONE VOLT are in touch with several international independant consultants, as well as reasearch institutes and entomologists, specialised in vector borne diseases ; Dr Charles Delacollette, ex WHO member, is positive on the possibilities this technology offers.
Drone SPRAY HEALTH© is a great improvment in the UAV sector with unlimited potential
